JobSSS gives your AI agent a durable workspace for the job search. The agent handles the conversation while the plugin keeps your profile, roles, documents, and next steps organized on your machine.
What it does

- Compares job descriptions with your experience and preferences, with reasons behind each fit score.
- Drafts tailored resumes, cover letters, and application answers from your own evidence.
- Tracks application preparation, tasks, and the review queue.
- Maps contacts, drafts outreach, and prepares interview stories for you to review.
How I designed it
The core workflow runs locally without a JobSSS API key. Records persist across conversations, and application claims trace back to your experience. Your agent host supplies the model and has its own account requirements.
Human decisions stay explicit: JobSSS prepares drafts, and you verify the evidence, review the materials, and send or submit them yourself. The optional people-finder and contact-brief plugins extend the workflow with candidate discovery and contact research.
Current status
JobSSS is an early release with the core job-search workflows implemented. The Codex stack has been verified on Windows. Installation options and host-specific requirements are documented in the GitHub README and installation guide.
